Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers to clarify requirements and ensure they are aligned with the product vision and objectives

Gather and analyze user needs and goals using both generative and evaluative research methods (user interviews, user surveys, card sorting, usability testing etc.)

Translate findings into tangible workflows and designs using standard UX tools (journeys, wireframes, interaction and interface design, information architecture, prototypes), working both independently and collaboratively with fellow UX team members, technical artists, product owners and software engineers

Test and iteratively refine designs to create efficient, accessible and engaging game-creation experiences for content creators on game teams

Mentor junior UX designers on the team in best practices within the user experience and design industry

Work and communicate with cross-discipline product teams that are geographically distributed across the globe

Report to the Senior Manager of Experience Design
Required Qualifications

You will have a portfolio that contains multiple case studies, highlighting your outstanding visual and interaction design skills, technical expertise, and the ability to think holistically

You will have 5+ years of experience designing for complex, data-rich applications such as creative tools, game engines or productivity software

You will have experience presenting complex concepts to different audiences (Product Managers, team members, engineers, game studio partners, etc.) and the ability to tailor the presentation to suit the audience

You will have experience establishing and improving UX processes and ways of working with cross-discipline teams

You will be comfortable working in complex organizations and have experience educating and promoting UX principles and best practices to partners and colleagues
