We are a global team of creators, storytellers, technologists, experience originators, innovators and so much more. We believe amazing games and experiences start with teams as diverse as the players and communities we serve. At Electronic Arts, the only limit is your imagination.
Our mission is to empower game teams to create high-quality experiences for all players.
We're motivated by our vision to build games in a better way. Our strategy starts with driving quality upstream and guiding game teams to shape the games we create. This approach unlocks our ability to focus on experiential quality through stable software. Expanding the power of play, we also help game teams talk to players earlier to improve on quality.

Our team prides itself on building high-quality software with a culture of openness, collaboration, and psychological safety. As a leader in the central engineering team, you are expected to continue building on our cultural & technical foundations to help EA create the highest-quality games possible across our entire portfolio.
Take ownership of EA's proprietary bot technology, providing expertise to the teams using the technology and the engineers working with it. You will continue to look for opportunities to improve this technology and how it applies to EA's test automation domain.
As a Principal Engineer, you will provide guidance and knowledge sharing to the 200+ SE community in the QV group.
You will participate in internal and external events that help share knowledge and promote EA's technical brand in our industry.
The AI domain is dynamic and evolves at a rapid pace. You are expected to keep current with industry developments and provide technical and strategic insights to QV's executive and technical leadership groups.
A minimum of 10 years experience with game development — focused on AI
Extensive knowledge of C++
Foundational knowledge of and experience with ML based systems and techniques

This role requires a great deal of collaboration with teams around EA world, as such, you will need to be collaborative and customer-centric.
Given the nature of the technologies involved, we are looking for someone who is curious, has a keen interest in AI, loves to solve hard problems and is passionate about their work.
You will work in a distributed team and are expected to work independently towards goals and deliverables.
