About the role
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced sales professional to be a part of a go to market team responsible for launching a new product line.
As an Account Executive, you will be working alongside sales leadership and responsible for launching and selling a best in class ad-tech solution to SaaS companies globally. You will be responsible for building a book of business from scratch with responsibility for the full sales cycle including; prospecting, outreach and sales demo.
The ideal candidate is a self-starting sales professional with 2-3 years experience selling SaaS or digital marketing solutions to enterprise customers.
Who you are
You’re a highly motivated, self-driven sales professional with a proven track record of success hunting for new business. We’ll look to you to generate new client acquisition through warm and cold outreach with the majority of sales activities being conducted over email (some phone work may be required). Experience working with sales automation and outreach tools would be a great asset to have.

What you'll be doing (responsibilities):

  • Identify new target customers within the B2B SaaS industry and generate outreach campaigns promoting our advertising solutions
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline by aggressively prospecting: Cold and warm outreach, setting up sales meetings and performing product demonstrations
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly targets while documenting and following up on all activities in the company’s CRM
  • Become a consultative sales specialist with in-depth knowledge of Black & White Zebra’s portfolio of digital publications and advertising solutions for B2B SaaS customers
  • Keep abreast of current online marketing strategies, methods, and trends, including competitive market and industry trends

Your skillset includes:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales goals through effective new customer acquisition strategies
  • Demonstrated success in consultative selling and presenting multiple solutions to ensure the best fit with customer needs
  • Ability to use critical thinking in a variety of situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Experience using sales enablement tools to build prospecting lists and set up outreach sequences and cadences
  • Experience using a CRM to manage customer accounts and sales activity
  • You have an ownership and startup mindset and an ability to self-start, remain agile as business needs change, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Nice to haves

  • Familiarity with digital marketing and advertising solutions with a focus on performance
  • Experience selling to B2B SaaS companies marketing
  • Experience with Zoho CRM
  • Experience with performance marketing or paid search campaigns
Salary Statement:
This full time position is available as either a remote or hybrid position based on location and offers an annual salary in the range of $65,000 to $80,000 CAD with an OTE of up to $120,000.
The range is a guide for the expected skills, knowledge and experience for new hires based in Canada only. Seniority level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. This means ranges will vary for candidates based outside of Canada and/or at different seniority levels. In addition to annual salary, full time employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
