Avigilon, a Motorola Solutions company, designs, develops and manufactures video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions. Avigilon's solutions have been installed at thousands of customer sites, including school campuses, transportation systems, healthcare centers, public venues, critical infrastructure, prisons, factories, casinos, airports, financial institutions, government facilities, and retailers.
Where Do You Fit In?
We have an excellent opportunity for a sales driven and motivated individual to join our Video Security & Access Control business as Channel Sales Executive. As such, you will be responsible for positioning the Avigilon Unity & Avigilon Alta VS&A solutions as the product of choice to end users. You'll identify, target, and win new business by building flourishing relationships with end users requiring Video Security and Access control solutions. You will be comfortable in discussing complex security projects where Video Security and Access control is the heart of the ecosystem. As your relationships mature, you'll establish opportunities for upselling, and showcase new products that our clients cannot live without.
Reporting to Senior Sales Director - Channel Sales Executives -North Europe, the Channel Sales Executive - Germany South will be a dynamic individual who is knowledgeable and passionate about security solutions and is highly customer-focused and efficient.
Your Daily Routine?
Responsible for driving sales in assigned territory and target accounts through Video Security and Access control solutions selling.
Identify strategic areas for growth and develop plans to boost sales, whilst supporting the development and delivery of future strategies across the Region.
Develop and enable long-term account plans that highlight strategies to onboard new accounts and grow with the existing accounts.
Coordinate the interaction between key customers and MSI resources as needed.
Shares SME knowledge of the Avigilon Unity & Avigilon Alta Solutions in a team-based culture focused on innovation and customer satisfaction
Identify and convert new end users within the currently served markets.
Analyze market demand to identify growth opportunities and forecast future sales targets.
High level of end user visits where business travel is required.
Drive business growth by influencing consultants and end-user groups to drive demand.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Channel Sales Executive - Germany South,
Promote and market Avigilon’s products and services within the assigned territory.
Conduct sales calls, schedule “local” promotional work and regularly with discipline, track sales activities with all partners, end-users and where applicable, distributors.
Manage opportunities using Salesforce.com, Avigilon’s chosen lead and project tracking software database.
Support Avigilon’s sales activities in the assigned territory by creating, nurturing, and responding to sales opportunities for the respective Avigilon products and services, including but not limited to Video Security and Access control.
Support the Senior Sales Director North Europe in establishing quarterly and annual sales objectives for the assigned territory.
Provide information to prospective customers such as our pricing, terms of sales, and delivery methods.
Provide basic technical guidance and product training to partners and end-users to help them understand how to use our
Assist with the supervision of installations at end-user sites, especially for key accounts, to ensure proper commissioning of the system and satisfaction of customer expectations and requirements.
Attend tradeshows and other marketing events.
Participate in the development of training materials for our products.
Provide feedback about partner and end-user requirements to Avigilon’s other departments to help develop product improvements and new product releases.
Maintain working knowledge of competitive offerings and compile data on competitive products and pricing and report it back to Motorola Solutions & Avigilon’s regional/head office.
Key qualifications and skills of the CSE - Germany South:
Language skills: fluent in German, fluent in English
3 Years+ of experience in the Security Industry preferred Experience in Video Surveillance and Access Control, IT Business
Effective and proven negotiation skills
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with C-Level executives
Strong relationship management skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Highly effective communication skills (oral, written & presentation)
Thorough understanding of security solution selling and related sales cycles.
Understanding of Commercial accounts, competitive landscape and customer procurement processes
Located and resident within the Territory of Germany South
Full and valid Driving license
You may be requested to obtain security clearance
