Department Overview

To earn Envysion credibility with a technical customer audience during the formation of the Solution Recommendation and its refinement throughout the life cycle of the customer relationship. You will own many aspects of the project delivery throughout the customer implementation journey. Working closely with internal and external teams to drive success for our customers. Having a solid track record of positive customer interaction, history of successful project delivery, combined with demonstrated ability to lead simultaneous initiatives will be key to your overall success. Completing projects with high quality, communicating effectively across all levels is essential.


Job Description

As a Solution Engineer, you'll combine technical knowledge and sales skills to provide advice and support to packaging a solution to win. Your customer interactions will be with our clients throughout the customers organization, so technical understanding with the ability to communicate effectively with all areas of the client organization will be essential. Along with the Account Executive, this position will be a key point of contact for clients and will provide both pre and post-sales guidance.

This is a remote role and candidates across the United States are encouraged to apply.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the customer need and establish company's product as the best solution that addresses that need.

  • Establishing the demo environment including the establishment of use cases that best demonstrate the unique value proposition of our SaaS solution.

  • Building and presenting customized demos.

  • Presenting companies technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with companies hardware, software, networking and security stack.

  • Participating and help driving the appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certification to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position.

  • Supporting the negotiating of contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.

  • Responding effectively to RFPs.

  • Attaining quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or an advanced degree.

  • Basic programming experience in HTML and other web based technologies.

  • Experienced working within the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Analytical mind that can dig into client and technical requirements

  • Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, customers, and cross-functional teams, and third parties.

  • Prior experience working within a Linux environment.

The base salary for this role in Colorado & California is $70,000

Basic Requirements

  • Associate's degree.

  • 2+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar technical experience within hardware and video security solutions.
