Department Overview

The Sales Specialist is responsible for working with regional Motorola Solutions customers. The candidate will focus on Account Management and support activity within designated territories.


Job Description

**Motorola Solutions is building talent pipelines to meet future hiring demands. This is a pipeline role, while there is not an immediate opening, we want to build relationships with prospective candidates like you. The Sales Specialist is responsible for working with customers and support of the T8N (NorCal, OR, WA, ID, MT, AK, HI) sales team. The Sales Specialist sells directly to customers 10% of the time within the designated territories. They will spend 40% of their time performing sales related administrative work; supporting trade shows, event planning, and managing contracts. They spend the remaining 50% on sales team assistance and support operation activities for identified key accounts. Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

  • Actively Interfacing and strategically partnering with key Account Executives to increase and capture sales within the T8N territory

  • Develop new prospects but primarily interface with existing customers, run-rate sales, and sales operations

  • Develop and maintain favorable relationships with new and existing customers and is held accountable and incented for achievement of specific business targets and results

  • Ability to travel 30-40% of the time in the territory

**The base pay for this role is 70,000-80,000**



Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree OR 1+ years of sales/customer service experience
