Department Overview
Test Systems Engineering: Designs, builds, and deploys test solutions into our various global manufacturing sites. These solutions are used to program, tune, and test the company's product portfolio. This helps ensure that our products are performing per customer specifications. This process is accomplished by working closely with our product development engineering and manufacturing facilities.
Job Description
This role will require experience in the following skill sets:
A. Experience working with a group that designs, develops and implements test hardware and software for production testing of new products. Evaluates deadlines, goals and develops project schedules.
B. Experience implementing solutions to improve test yields, reduce over all Test time, provide for test capacity increases, minimize downtime, and optimize test/process flows. This includes implementing new processes and technologies, utilizing statistical tools, and developing innovations to existing problems and issues.
C. Identifies technical and quality problems, determines alternatives and evaluates them to arrive at the most acceptable approach including conformity to specifications, reliability, cost effectiveness, testability and reparability.
D. Prepares and presents technical reports to influence the decision making process. Provide technical information and participates as a speaker in technical programs.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Live and Work in Guadalajara, Mexico.
- Fluent in English
- Specific Knowledge:
- Knowledge NI Teststand, NI Labview & Python
- RF knowledge
- Knowledge of test systems hardware and software architecture
