The role:

We are seeking a Lead Product Designer to work cross-functionally across the product, engineering, and marketing teams to deliver design value throughout the product life cycle. This role includes delivering the best online user experience, tackling user problems and contributing to the overall product strategy. The Lead Product Designer will work on our integration based web application formsflow.ai.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare prototypes, hi-fi and lo-fi mock-ups and storyboards;
  • Design the appearance, layout and user journey for websites and web applications for enterprise and start-up customers;
  • Work closely with engineers to suggest improvements for products and processes;
  • Set design requirements based on user research and information from internal teams (backend developers, business analysts, architects, etc.);
  • Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership;
  • Identify new product improvement opportunities by conducting usability tests;
  • Create thoughtful solutions that consider the entire customer experience journey/narrative;
  • Ensure that all design solutions meet accessibility compliance requirements;
  • Analyze how a new product satisfies market needs and consumer preferences;
  • Modify and revise existing designs to meet changing customer preferences;
  • Navigate a fast-paced agile environment with team members in different locations by balancing independent self-direction;
  • Stay up to date on current industry trends and market conditions;
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Business Development teams to create content for promotional purposes;
  • MVPs, and ensure product excellence through launch and iteration;
  • Ability to explore several design solutions, prototyping and iterating based on quantitative/qualitative customer research and experimentation to deliver the best experiences.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • 6 - 8 years of experience as a UX/UI/Service Design or similar role;
  • Proven experience in all phases of the design process including user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing;
  • A well-rounded portfolio of client work demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives;
  • Proficiency in visual design and wire-framing tools (XD, Figma, and/or Sketch);
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
